Each year, groups of Yale SOM students take on the serious work of organizing a half-dozen major conferences.
Whether the topic of the conference is private equity, philanthropy, marketing, education, or healthcare,
students tackle all aspects of managing what have become major events, drawing speakers and attendees
from across the country to discuss some of the most vital issues shaping their industries. The student
organizers draw up themes, craft agendas, identify and book speakers, design each day’s events, and market
the conference to a nationwide audience. In this video, the students that put on last spring’s Healthcare
