The arrival of New England fall foliage marks our annual events season, when we travel around the world to meet prospective students and connect with alumni. Fairs, tours, forums, and receptions are a great way to speak one-on-one with members of the admissions committee and other school representatives. How do you pick which ones to attend? James Levitt's job is to find inventive ways to preserve land and wildlife habitat that otherwise might be developed. In a recent interview, he describes his efforts to marshal the diverse resources necessary to preserve open space and biodiversity. He was named a 2008-2009 Donaldson Fellow.
