as provide some tips on how to present the strongest application possible — this
month, focusing on the GMAT exam.

Profile: Betting on Finance
When I picture the person I was when I entered Yale SOM,
it’s probably far from who I’ll be when I leave. I came
from a nonprofit background, but now I’m in finance. I worked
for Working Today in New York, which runs the Freelancers Union. I
was in fundraising, which is mostly focused on getting grants and gifts.

SOM gave me the tools and opened the doors to build a career
in finance, which in turn, has allowed me to directly participate
in the recent transformation of Mexico and other Latin American
