Message from Admissions:

Over the course of the last year, this newsletter has featured stories about diversity in our MBA program. Another indication of Yale SOM’s commitment to diversity is a program we host over the summer, when the full-time MBA students are off on their internships, called the Pre-MBA Leadership Program. This two-week program was designed for college juniors and seniors, as well as recent graduates, from populations that are typically underrepresented in management education. The participants get a glimpse into the world of management education as they hone their leadership skills under the direction of Yale SOM's world-class faculty. This year, the program is sponsored by Goldman Sachs.

This is our last edition of the Diversity at Yale SOM newsletter until next fall. We'd like to leave you with a chance to hear directly from a number of our students. The video featured below was initiated by students on the school's Diversity Task Force, and gives their perspective on what it's like to live in New Haven and be a part of the broader Yale community.

We hope that this newsletter has been a window into our community, and that you have a fuller sense of what diversity means at Yale SOM.

"An effective leader for business and society is one who is able to hear, understand, and communicate with people from all segments of society. In order to educate such leaders, Yale SOM is committed to promoting diversity and creating a community that cultivates a wealth of perspectives."
