The CMO Interview
In February, the Yale Center for Customer Insights hosted top marketing professionals from an array of companies for a conference on technology and innovation. Bringing so many industry leaders to Yale provided an opportunity for deeper-level conversations about the future of marketing. Ravi Dhar, the George Rogers Clark Professor of Management and Marketing and director of the Center for Customer Insights, spoke with two such leaders, Jon Iwata, senior vice president for marketing and communications at IBM, and Geoff Cottrill, CMO at Converse, about the impact social media is having on how they build their brands and the challenges of marketing in a rapidly changing world.
