Center for Business and the Environment Kicks Off Energy Efficiency Webinar Series

The Yale Center for Business and the Environment (CBEY) will launch its fifth annual webinar series on October 18. The series will continue the theme of Blueprint for Efficiency, with an emphasis on the latest developments and opportunities for energy efficiency in the private sector. It will explore a range of topics around energy efficiency through weekly presentations from leaders in the corporate, nonprofit, and public-private arenas.

This year's series is a collaboration between CBEY and the Alliance to Save Energy (ASE). Founded in 1977, the Alliance is a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit organization that works solely to promote energy efficiency worldwide through research, education, and advocacy.

On October 18 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. EDT, Kateri Callahan, president of the Alliance to Save Energy, will present the first webinar, titled "Energy Efficiency: America's First Fuel." She will discuss the changing landscape of the energy efficiency sector by highlighting the potential for energy efficiency legislation, as well as the new opportunities emerging across the energy efficiency landscape.
