"We look forward to hosting the 11th Annual Yale SOM Private Equity Conference. The event is a unique opportunity to bring together top professionals and thought leaders in the field," said Daniel Schier '12, co-chair of the Yale SOM Private Equity Club and co-organizer of the conference. "The conference will examine the structural shifts within private equity, which has seen a change in the way deals are sourced, financed, and executed. This transition is well encapsulated in this year’s theme, ‘The Journey from Financial Engineering to Value Creation.'"

Several prominent members of the financial community sponsor the conference, including Winchester Capital, Deloitte, Goodwin Proctor LLP, Paul Weiss LLP, and BackBay Communications. Media sponsors include Buyouts, The Deal, Dealmaker Portal, Mergers & Acquisitions, Mergermarket, MergerID, and Private Equity Professional Digest. The conference is organized by the Yale SOM Private Equity Club, a student-administered club that broadens student exposure to the private equity community while educating professionals about Yale SOM. In addition to organizing the annual conference, the Private Equity Club hosts guest lectures and luncheon conversations with industry leaders and pioneers.
