In his latest book, Carrots and Sticks: Unlock the Power of Incentives to Get Things Done, Professor Ian Ayres applies lessons from behavioral economics to explain how to design incentives and commitments that can help people and organizations achieve their goals. Ayres recently discussed the book in a talk to the Royal Society for the encouragement of the Arts.
