Posted on: March 23, 2011

K. Sudhir has been appointed the James L. Frank '32 Professor of Private Enterprise and Management. Sudhir, who joined the Yale SOM faculty in 2001, is interested in gaining market insights by analyzing consumer and firm actions through econometric modeling. As director of the China India Insights Program, he also specializes in research on consumers in emerging markets.

The Yale SOM faculty gathered for a reception in Sudhir's honor on Tuesday evening. "Celebrating the bestowal of a chair on a much respected faculty colleague is one of the great pleasures of being a dean," said Dean Sharon Oster. "I am delighted that Sudhir has been honored in this way during my deanship."
