MBA-e: Path to Leadership
Two weekends a month, about 40 professionals from around the country come to Yale SOM for the MBA for Executives: Leadership in Healthcare program. Over the course of 22 months, with intensive in-residence portions during the summers, students will earn a full MBA, with a focus in the healthcare industry. In addition, they meet top leaders in healthcare who visit to lecture and teach. The program is positioned to educate healthcare professionals to respond to healthcare’s increasing demand for sophisticated management thinking, and to stretch students in new directions by providing a collaborative and professionally diverse learning environment.
One of the strengths of the program is the student body. Classes include scientists, physicians, pharmaceutical and insurance executives, public health leaders, and attorneys. “Yale’s program recruits top-notch students, and they bring a wealth of experience to the classroom,” said Magnus Evertson '11 MBA-e, study director, Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. “Combine that with the world-reknowned professors and you’ve got just a fantastic, dynamic classroom.”
