Yale SOM Private Equity Conference To Draw Hundreds of Investment Professionals

New Haven, Conn., September 28, 2010 – The Yale School of Management Private Equity Club will hold its 10th Annual Private Equity Conference in Stamford, Connecticut, at the Stamford Hilton Hotel on Friday, November 12, 2010. Given the theme "Building on a Decade of Insight," the one-day conference will provide a forum for hundreds of private equity professionals and members of the dealmaking community to reflect on the evolving landscape of private equity over the last decade.
Joshua Bekenstein, managing director at Bain Capital and a Yale University alumnus, will give the lunchtime keynote address. In addition, Ellis B. Jones, CEO of Wasserstein & Co. and Yale SOM ’79, and Steven J. Heyer, CEO of Harry & David (a Wasserstein & Co. portfolio company) will take the stage together for the closing keynote dialogue to discuss the dynamic relationship between private equity fund management and portfolio company executive leadership through the different stages of the business cycle.
