CNBC Features Barry Nalebuff and Seth Goldman ’95 on Honest Tea
Professor Barry Nalebuff and Seth Goldman ’95, co-founders of Honest Tea, appeared on the CNBC series "How I Made My Millions" to discuss the success of the company as they prepare to take the brand national. The partners talked about growing Honest Tea from an idea sparked by a case study in a Yale SOM classroom in 1995 to a company with sales that are on track to top $50 million this year. But Goldman notes that money isn't the only measure of value for the company. "The fact that we’re organic, the fact that we have less sugar, the fact that we have fair trade ingredients, that's where the value of the brand is."
