Donaldson Fellows Program 2010-2011

Posted on: June 10, 2010

Nominations are still being accepted for the 2010-2011 Donaldson Fellows Program. The deadline to nominate is June 25th, 2010. The Donaldson Fellows program is named to honor SOM’s founding dean, William H. Donaldson. Donaldson Fellows are Yale SOM alumni whose personal and professional accomplishments embody the school’s mission to educate leaders for business and society. They are selected by a committee chaired by the Dean and comprised of SOM faculty, current students, and alumni. The selection is based on nominations from members and friends of the SOM community, as well as self-nominations.

As you consider who to nominate, please keep in mind that the committee seeks a wide range of experience, a variety of industries and sectors, and years since graduation. The objective is to select alumni who exemplify what it is to live the Yale School of Management mission as expressed through three themes: leading and managing across boundaries; transforming positive values into personal, professional and institutional commitments; bringing creativity and discipline to complex management problems.

To learn more about the program, please visit the Donaldson Fellows page in the Alumni Portal. To nominate yourself or an SOM graduate please submit a 500 word nomination by June 25th to: donaldson.fellows@yale.edu. If you have any questions about the Donaldson Fellows Program, please do not hesitate to contact the Director of Alumni Relations, Eugenia Hayes: 203.432.1279.
