Career Services for SOM Alumni
Posted on: March 16, 2009
The Career Development Office offers a range of complimentary services to SOM alumni through all phases of their careers — from finding the right first job, to evaluating unexpected opportunities, to planning a mid-career change. Services include:
- Individualized Career Counseling/Coaching Sessions
These free sessions are open to all alumni and typically run between 30 and 60 minutes.
- Alumni Job Postings
View open positions submitted by recruiters specifically for Yale SOM alumni.
- Career Research Tools & Databases (NetId required)
Access thousands of recruiters indexed by function and industry, company and industry profiles, executive biographies, financial data, and analyst reports.
- Alumni Career Search Manual
Download the Alumni Career Search Manual. Written from a post-MBA mid career perspective, the manual includes sections on career transitioning, networking, working with executive recruiters, and negotiation.
- Online Alumni Directories
Search for and network with fellow alumni in two ways: SOM Alumni Directory and the AYA Alumn Directory.
- Referrals to Executive Recruiters, Companies and Alumni
If you have questions about any of these services, or would like to schedule an in-person meeting, or would just like to learn more about trends in the current job market, we encourage you to connect with SOM's alumni career services office.
