Yale SOM Admissions Events Introduce Prospective Students to the School
Yale SOM hosts a variety of events each year to help prospective applicants learn about the school. Admissions officers visit cities from Portland, Oregon, to London, England to meet with individuals and answer their questions.
Some of the important upcoming events include (follow the links for more information and to register for the programs):
- SOM Admissions Receptions. These events in Los Angeles (October 4), San Francisco (October 5), Boston (October 12), Washington D.C. (October 17), and New York City (October 18), will include a presentation by Professor Peter Schott entitled “Facing the Dragon: Prospects for U.S. Manufacturers in the Coming Decade.”
- SOM Diversity Admissions Receptions. These events in Atlanta (September 27), New York City (October 3), and Washington D.C. (October 4) enable prospective applicants to talk one-on-one with Yale SOM alumni and administrators about the intellectual and professional competitive advantages of the Yale MBA.
- Explore Diversity. A two-day program (November 3-4) on the SOM campus. Participants will have the opportunity to take an in-depth look at the MBA program, interacting closely with students, faculty, alumni, and administrators.
- New York City Women's Admissions Reception. This November 20 event will feature a panel discussion with three SOM alumnae, moderated by Professor Sharon Oster, the Frederic D. Wolfe Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship & Director of the Program on Social Enterprise.
