Seth Goldman's '95 Honest Tea Honored by Inc. Magazine; Trish Karter '82 also Speaks at Award Ceremony

Honest Tea, the socially and environmentally conscious purveyor of refreshingly unsweetened, barely sweetened and 'a tad swee' organic teas founded by Seth Goldman '95 and Professor Barry Nalebuff, was recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the 500 fastest-growing private companies in the country in its annual Inc. 500 ranking.

The Inc. 500 ranking is based on sales growth over the past five years. The Bethesda, MD-based Honest Tea boasted a whopping 1,333% growth in sales between its founding in 1998 and 2002, beating the 1,312% average five-year sales growth of the companies on the list.

Other companies that have been identified by the Inc. 500 in their early years include Microsoft, Domino's Pizza, Timberland, Gateway, E*Trade, Morningstar, and Stonyfield Farms.

Goldman, President & TeaEO of Honest Tea, will be a keynote speaker at the 22nd annual Inc. 500 Conference & Award Ceremony in Miami, March 24-27, along with Trish Karter '82, CEO and Co-Founder of the Dancing Deer Baking Company, a multi-year honoree on Inc.'s annual list of the Top 100 Inner City Companies.
