Yale School of Management Opens The NASDAQ Stock Market

New Haven, CT- December 18, 2003- Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, Associate Dean for Executive Programs at the Yale School of Management and Founder, President and CEO of The Chief Executive Leadership Institute (CELI), presided over the market open of The NASDAQ Stock Market this morning at NASDAQ's Times Square MarketSite in New York City.

The market open ceremony was in honor of the 48th CEO Summit of The Chief Executive Leadership Institute of the Yale School of Management, which takes place December 18-19, 2003 at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York. The CEO Summit is a forum for peer-driven leadership education between and among the nation's top executives and foremost scholars. One hundred and forty world-renowned chief executives, policy makers, and academics will gather at the invitation-only conference, "Happy Days: Are They Here Again?"

Several CEO Summit participants joined Professor Sonnenfeld at the market open:
John Cook, CEO of PRG/Schultz International; Jeff Rodek, CEO of Hyperion Solutions; Joe DeLillo, Chief Operating Officer of The Chief Executive Leadership Institute; and Andrea Redmond, Managing Director of Russell Reynolds Associates. NASDAQ Executive Vice President Bruce Aust hosted them.
