Roger Ibbotson Honored For Contribution to Investment Management
Professor Roger Ibbotson was recognized by the editors of Pensions & Investments (10/27) as one of the 30 people who "literally changed pension funds, institutional investing and/or money management." In P&I's profile, they refer to Ibbotson as "the leading expert in capital market returns," and a "meticulous and incessant scholar of market returns." The article also notes several pioneering research studies, including his collaboration with Rex A. Sinquefield in the 1970s that "became the standard reference for asset allocation studies."
