Lecturer in Law & Becton Fellow Stephen Hudspeth also teaches a course on law and social justice at Union Theological Seminary in New York City. He served for a dozen years as chair of the litigation department of a large international law firm, also heading the firm's pro bono program, until his retirement to enter teaching three years ago. He continues with pro bono legal work, with a special focus on child welfare, generally, and foster care reform, specifically. He also continues with a limited amount of commercial legal work. Hudspeth serves on for-profit and nonprofit boards; he is a newspaper columnist, the co-author of a book on transfer pricing, and the author of articles on the subjects of antitrust, intellectual property, transfer pricing, and litigation and dispute resolution.
