Lecturer in Macroeconomics

Michael Hanson is an assistant professor in the department of economics at Wesleyan University. He has previously held positions in the U.S. Federal Reserve System, and is a member of the American Economic Association, the Econometric Society, the Midwest Economic Association, and the Western Economic Association International.  Professor Hanson's research and teaching interests include macroeconomics, monetary economics, international finance, and applied econometrics. He has published in the Journal of Monetary Economics and the Journal of Economics and Business, and has refereed for numerous academic journals.
