David DeRosa is president and owner of DeRosa Research and Trading, Inc., which deals in research, consulting, and trading in foreign exchange and derivative markets. He is a member of the board of directors of BlueCrest Capital International, Ltd., GSA Capital Management, and the Children's Investment Fund. His books include In Defense of Free Capital Markets: The Case Against a New International Financial Architecture (Bloomberg Press, 2001) and Options on Foreign Exchange, Second Edition (Wiley, 2000). He is currently working on a new book on central banking and monetary policy in emerging markets nations. DeRosa is a former director of Foreign Exchange Trading for Swiss Bank Corporation. In 1979, Professor DeRosa was an economic advisor to the Ministry of Finance and National Economy in Saudi Arabia.
