Maureen Burke has over 20 years' experience in entrepreneurship and finance. She began her career at Merrill Lynch and Cantor Fitzgerald as an underwriter and trader in Municipal Bond Finance. After nine years, she left Wall Street to pursue an MBA in finance from the Yale School of Management. Since graduating from SOM in 1997, her focus has been advising entrepreneurs and technology-based start-up companies. She has consulted to and written business plans for a variety of entrepreneurs in emerging technology companies covering industries such as biotechnology, environmental technologies, and medical devices. Clients include Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation, the Cleantech Venture Network, Conti Enterprises Inc, and Keren Pharmaceuticals.
