Lecturer in Organizational Behavior

Heidi Brooks is director of the SOM Mentoring Program and a lecturer at the Yale School of Management. She is also a clinical assistant professor at the Yale School of Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry.

Before coming to Yale SOM, Heidi directed the Leadership Development Group at The Consultation Center at Yale University. The Leadership Development Group provides consulting services in addition to operating a research and training center for excellence in leadership development practices.

Prior to joining Yale, Brooks was the assistant director of the Center for Family Enterprises at the Kellogg School of Management, where she focused on leadership development in established family firms. Prior to Kellogg, she was an executive coach for high level leaders in Fortune 500 companies, academic institutions and non-profit organizations.

Brooks is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), Society of I/O Psychologists, and the Academy of Management. She specializes in management assessment, coaching, and organizational development.
