Mr. Kevin Zhang is a managing partner of Ascendent Capital Partners Limited. Prior to co-founding Ascendent in 2011, Mr. Zhang was a managing partner of Trustbridge Partners Limited. Before joining Trustbridge in 2009, Mr. Zhang was partner of Goldman Sachs and co-head of Goldman Sachs' Asian special situations group (ASSG) where he was responsible for all the investing activities in China. Mr. Zhang also held various management positions in the securities division and investment banking division since joining Goldman Sachs in 1994 and was head of Asian fixed income sales and head of China financing group prior to his ASSG responsibilities. Mr. Zhang served on Goldman Sachs' Asian management committee, Goldman Sachs firm business practices committee and Goldman Sachs' China operating committee.

Mr. Zhang is currently a governor of The Independent Schools Foundation in Hong Kong and a board director of The Silver Lining Foundation in China. Mr. Zhang earned his MBA from the Yale School of Management, where he currently co-chairs the Greater China Advisory Board.
