Robert Mulroy serves as the president and chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors of Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Merrimack is a biopharmaceutical company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts dedicated to the discovery and development of new medicines for the treatment of cancer. Since joining Merrimack, Mr. Mulroy has guided the financial, strategic direction, and operating growth of the company.
Mr. Mulroy worked previously as a management consultant supporting the strategic decisions of regional and global clients in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. He has also worked as an advisor to governments in the field of international development and formation of biotechnology clusters. Mr. Mulroy currently serves on the boards of the M.I.T. Center for Biomedical Innovation and Passim, a nonprofit music education and performance center serving greater Boston. He holds an AB from Stanford University and a masters degree in public and private management from the Yale School of Management.
