"As an international student pursuing a joint degree with the School of Forestry, my time at Yale SOM was one of tremendous personal and professional growth. The highly stimulating environment and the emphasis on interdisciplinary problem solving with classmates from the private, public, and nonprofit sectors have proven invaluable in my career. My SOM coursework provided a solid foundation in financial and quantitative analyses, organizational behavior, strategy, and leadership. This facilitated the transition from a broad operational role in a successful family business to my current career in financial services. When I left SOM, I was confident I could analyze and resolve any business issue my team encountered, no matter how complex. This has aided me greatly in managing several very different investment management businesses I've encountered. "
