Mr. Huang is the founder and president of Lotus Capital Management, an investment firm specializing in private equity investments in Asia.

Prior to founding Lotus Capital Management, Mr. Huang was the head of research and product development of Credit Suisse Asset Management in Japan (1993 to 1994). Before joining Credit Suisse, Mr. Huang was an associate in the corporate finance department in the investment banking division of Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York (1990 to 1992). Mr. Huang was a research assistant at the Hudson Institute, a Washington D.C. strategic think-tank from 1986 to 1988.

Mr. Huang was instrumental in either forming or making investments in the following companies:

Asia Aluminum Holdings Limited: vice-chairman (1994-1998), the largest aluminum construction materials company in China. Listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 1998.

CSK Systems (Shanghai) Ltd.: founder and vice chairman (1998-2001). Enterprise software company based in Shanghai and Hangzhou, China.

Cafeglobe.com: co-founder and director (1999- 2001). One of the most popular women’s lifestyle Internet magazines in Japan.

SEGA.com Inc.: co-founder, director, president and CEO (1999-2000), an online gaming company based in San Francisco.

Cheong Ming Investment Holdings, Ltd.: vice chairman (2000- present). A company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that is being transformed into an investment holding company.

Mr. Huang received his MPPM degree from the Yale School of Management in 1990. He also holds an MA degree in economics from Georgetown University and a BS degree in physics from Hangzhou Zhejiang University in China.
