The current Yale SOM campus combines nineteenth century mansions with contemporary buildings in a complex that provides modern classrooms, study rooms, and common areas. The SOM campus is located in the heart of Yale University, bordered by Prospect St., Sachem St., and Hillhouse Ave.
A New Campus
The school is currently building a new campus to be located a few blocks away from the current facility. The building, Edward P. Evans Hall, named after Yale College alumnus and donor, Ned Evans ’64, is being designed by Foster + Partners, the architectural firm chaired by Pritzker Prize Laureate Lord Norman Foster ARCH ’62 HON ’03. Foster + Partners has designed landmark buildings around the world, including the Hearst Tower in New York City and Terminal 3 at the Beijing Capital International Airport, the largest single building on the planet.See visualizations of the plans for the new campus and read updates online
