International Month

International Month features discussions on business and society around the globe. The celebration culminates in a gala evening of music, food, and drink from the many countries represented by our students.

Internship Fund Auction

The first of its kind among the nation’s business schools, the Internship Fund Auction provides financial support to students who pursue summer internships in the public or nonprofit sector. Since inception, approximately 20 percent of each class has received funding.

SOM Student-Faculty Challenge

Inspired by SOM’s August 2007 victory over the University of Texas in the CNBC Fast Money MBA Challenge, the SOM Student-Faculty MBA Challenge pits SOM students and faculty against one another in a multi-round contest, the prize for which is a donation (based on ticket sales for the event) to the charity of the winners' choosing.

Stanley Garstka Cup

Named after the school's Deputy Dean, this annual spring ice hockey competition pits the first-year class against the second years in a battle that turns our trademark team spirit into internecine war.

Yale MBA Soccer Tournament

Each year, the Yale SOM United Soccer Club hosts a tournament which attracts hundreds of players from the nation's top business schools for an exciting weekend of sports and networking.
