The purpose of the Veterans Club is to provide a social and professional network for veterans of US and foreign militaries. Our objectives are to provide career guidance for military personnel transitioning to the private or non-profit sectors; to assist in resume writing and interview preparation, describing the relevance of military accomplishments to the private/public sector; to provide a social support network of active duty and former military personnel; to bring relevant military management and leadership experience to the Yale SOM community at large through guest speakers and other events; to encourage qualified candidates from the Armed Forces to apply to Yale SOM; and to foster a cohesive environment throughout Yale University by involving veterans in other schools.
