Previous Networking Nights covered the healthcare, energy, boutique consulting, and nonprofit sectors. Employer Networking Nights are held during both the fall and spring recruiting seasons, based on industry recruiting cycles.Corporate Presentations
Throughout the fall, many company representatives come to campus to provide organizational overviews and meet students. Presentations begin in September prior to the start of fall interviews (October). Sessions normally begin with a brief presentation by representatives of the firm and are followed by a question-and-answer period. Many companies also participate in Career Immersion, an industry education program in which company representatives speak on industry-focused panels.
On-Campus Interviews
Company representatives visit campus to interview for both summer internship and permanent positions. Most companies elect a "closed" interview schedule which means that they invite students to interview. In many cases, companies will also offer an "open" interview schedule, allowing students who are not initially invited an opportunity to interview with the company. Interviews for second-year students begin in October and interviews for first-year students begin in mid January.Speakers
