The CDO organizes off-campus networking events in locations such as San Francisco and Seattle during the first week in January, and London during the Thanksgiving break.

Job Treks

Job Treks provide students with an opportunity to visit an organization. Each year, various companies invite SOM students to their offices in the U.S. and abroad, offering unique insight into an organization’s day-to-day operations, people, and culture. Treks can also enable more interaction with senior leaders and alumni within the organization. Popular times for these treks are on Fridays during the academic year, when classes are not in session, or during the academic recesses.

Job Treks can be company-, location- or industry-specific. In 2010–2011, students traveled to London, New York, Boston, San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, Houston, Washington, D.C., Hong Kong, and other locations.
