| On-Campus Recruiting |
Fall interviews for full-time positions begin on October 8, 2012. Spring interviews for internship positions begin on January 2, 2013, with SuperWeek, a full week of finance interviews. Recruiting for all other internship positions starts on January 15, 2013.
To ensure that employers have equal access to job candidates and that students complete the first semester curriculum, no internship interviews can take place, on or off campus, before the specified interviewing period.
Please review the guidelines for interviewing, interview follow-up, and making offers to our MBA students.
In order to invite a student to interview with your organization on campus, please provide your Relationship Manager with the names of students selected for an interview. The CDO will notify students and create an interview schedule that does not conflict with the students' class schedules. SOM policy prohibits students from missing class for on or off campus interviews.
We encourage you to select at least 5 alternates for your closed schedule in the event a student declines your invitation to interview. Please share your list of alternate candidates with your Relationship Manager, who will communicate regularly with students.
Recruiters are asked to make every effort to adhere to their confirmed interviewing schedules, since delays may cause class conflicts for students. If you need to alter your schedule, please notify your Relationship Manager as soon as possible. If weather conditions prevent you from keeping appointments, please advise us; we will inform the affected students and work with you to schedule an alternate interview date.
Please note that there are no internship interviews on or off campus during the International Experience (March 12-21). To ensure that employers have equal access to job candidates and that students complete the first semester curriculum, no internship interviews can take place, on or off campus, before the specified interviewing period.
The CDO requests that employers extend invitations for second round interviews directly to students, and inform the CDO. To avoid undue pressure on students, we ask that employers conduct first-round interviews and second-round interviews on separate days.
To balance the needs of both students and employers, we have established the following guidelines for all firms, on or off campus, extending offers to SOM students.
