By Car

From Interstate 91, take exit 3 (Trumbull Street).
Go straight at the bottom of the ramp and turn right on Hillhouse Avenue.
Turn left on Sachem Street and right on Prospect Street for the Science Hill Garage (please see below for parking).

Please note that construction is taking place around Yale SOM, and you may be redirected.

Parking

The Science Hill Garage (or Sachem-Prospect Garage) is located on Prospect Street behind Ingalls Rink. The entrance to the garage is on Prospect Street, just north of the rink (the first entrance on your left). Follow the road as it curves down and to the right. If you plan to park in this garage, please contact the CDO prior to your visit for a garage access code.

Metered street parking may be available around Yale SOM. However, please read street signs carefully as parking is limited and may be prohibited during certain days and hours. Cars may be towed if they are in violation of parking regulations. 

By Train

New Haven’s Union Station serves both Amtrak andMetro-North Railroad. Taxis are available outside the station; it takes approximately 15 minutes to reach Yale SOM.
