We encourage you to visit our campus to get a first-hand view of the Yale SOM experience. The Admissions Office hosts campus visits Monday through Thursday throughout the academic year most days classes are in session. This is the best time to plan your visit to get the most out of your trip to Yale and New Haven.

Please schedule your visit through our online scheduler. Please note that our campus visit schedule is full until February 2013. Planning Your Visit

Registration is required in order to join our campus visit program.  We cannot accommodate walk-in visitors due to space constraints in our classrooms and catering orders. Please register for a campus visit in advance as our schedule fills quickly. If you are unable to make your scheduled visit date, please cancel your visit online with at least two business days' notice.

Please note that we require visitors to select either a morning or afternoon class visit upon registration. Before choosing a specific date to visit campus, please peruse our list of class offerings, which vary by day and timeslot. (pdf)

Parking

Parking information will be provided in your campus visit confirmation email after you have scheduled your visit online.

Visiting Yale University and New Haven

While you’re visiting the SOM campus, you may want to explore parts of the greater University and the City of New Haven. Please visit the Yale University Visitors Gateway or INFO New Haven to find out more information about art museums, restaurants, and other attractions at Yale and throughout New Haven; and the Yale University Tours page to learn more about tours of the University. In addition to guided tours of Yale, there is also a self-guided tour of the University, including a new, self-guided MP3 audio tour. Copies of the self-guided tour map and route are available at the Admissions Visitor Center.

Interviews

An interview is required to be admitted to the Yale School of Management. Interviews are by invitation of the Admissions Committee. If you are invited to interview, you will be notified by email. You may be invited at any point in a round — after an initial review of your application or after one or two in-depth reads. Learn more about the Yale SOM interview process in the FAQ section.
